? About 3 port & tune

I have a 3 port BCS that came off my STI and I wanted to use it. I dunno the brand but aren't they all the same? The tuner the previous owner of my old car used installed it and it worked awesome. Is there a difference between the GM and others as far as current draw, output signal, etc? If it doesn't work I'll just buy a X specific unit.

That said, what would I need to change , tune wise, when making the switch? Is there a peoceduew to follow? I have an AP for tuning. Any help would b appreciated. Thankuou

*should* be the same, but if you really want help identifying it I'd post a pic.

You need to reduce the wastegate duty tables. Search the forums to find the exact instructions, I know the info is there b/c I just read it recently myself.

Most 3-ports are the same (or work in a very similar way), you just need to know which input/output is what. Also, as Windstorm said, you will need to adjust your boost control tables (basically set passive solenoid to 0% and the reactive is the table you will tune). PM me if you need further details/help setting it up.
