I think the ecu is bricked, can I swap the ecu from another 08 GSR and see it will start?

 

No it has to have the VIN swapped into it before it will start. I can unbrick it if you send it in.

 

Thanks John, I'll let my friend know, btw another friend computer got screwed in a flood can he buy a used one and can the dealer only do a vin swap? I'm outside united states btw and these cars are JDM? if you can help please pm the cost ect to have it done.
