Super Sport Mode

Hey everyone this might be a newb question. A month from now I'll be putting all my bolt ons on and getting etuned. My question is with my MR being tuned I read that it has to stay in super sport mode is this true and if so it is possible to have 2 maps on the AP. One for aggressive driving and another for normal driving

Mahalo,
Marcus

Not quite true. Depending on final tuned torque (rather than hp) you would probably want to be in Super sport (sport at least) for WOT but for normal driving/cruising it will be fine in normal and/or sport

Super sport is way to hard on the drive train on the street. Sport mode is fine for aggressive driving.
The tuner should of adjusted the torque tables for both normal and sport in parallel however.

I love the warning in the manual about "SuperSport" never being used on a highway or else!

It's just higher clutchpack pressures and in autoshift it waits til redline to shift to the next gear as well as downshifting as soon as the next lowest gear will be below 7k. Using that on the street would drive most people insane. If you manually shift it in SuperSport you will just notice more aggressive shifts between gears and be able to hold more torque. Sport mode should hold the power/torque in most cases but for those with close to 400 wtq (dynojet) you are best using SuperSport and letting the temps get to at least 150*F before hammering on it.

Where does it say in any of the brochures to use S-Sport only at the track?
