ASC Service Light? (Searched)

Hey, so I've owned my evo for not even a year yet. I baby the living crap out of it.

Some days I start the car up and my ASC service light will come on, or come on randomly when I'm driving. I just hit the 30k mark, and I'm ordering the fluids to do the 30k service right now. Car is stock except coilovers and greddy exhaust.

I don't think I'm hitting past 30 psi, is there anyway I can read these codes without driving to the dealer? The one in cerritos tends to rape.

I am experiencing no issues though, just the light coming on randomly. No thuds, no stalling, no hesitation. Drives just fine.

Pepboys will read the codes for you for free, I don't know how much that will help you though since it's an ASC light. Haha

The best scenario for you is that you're over boosting.
I don't know about that though since you said it comes on when you first start the car sometimes.

The other scenarios start getting expensive. =(

Alignment, probably the steering wheel angle sensor. Don't reset the code. It will turn off once you drive for a few miles after an alignment.

I have that same issue, surprises me that you say an alignment may be needed because my asc light is on but my car drives normal...but my streering wheel is turned to the left when the tires are straight if get what I'm saying but it does drive straight. I have had the car for a few months now and nothing has changed till yesterday when the asc n 4wd system service req. Light came on, after changing my bushings n sway bars in the front..surprisingly the 4wd went off after.i put gas in the car but the asc stayed on. Car drives fine, I really don't want to go to the dealership...I called them and they said 95 bucks to read..I was like wtf...I would if I have to but geeez!...plz help bro...im hoping it's just an alignment esp since they kind of messed with the suspension changing my bushing n sway bars
