So I just got pro tuned locally yesterday. Drove the car home and around for a cruise, no issues. On my way home from work today I was in some stop and go traffic and had the idle race up to 4k rpms before I turned the key off.

Has anybody experienced this before? My first thought was that it was from the tune, as it never did it before. The car has full bolt ons minus a down pipe, Asnu 1100's DW65, and a brand new front O2 sensor.

Occum's Razor states that among competing hypotheses, the one with the fewest assumptions should be selected.

At least it's not a Diesel where you have to let it "idle" until it runs out of fuel.

 

The tuner is taking a look at the logs tonight. Unless it comes back something different, we'll call it closed.

 

Interestingly enough, a reflash of the tune solved this issue. The revs were hanging as well. Chive on!
