So I have a 2010 GSR and the previous owner put a K&N/AEM Hybrid intake. I'm trying to get my car back to fit one of the generic Cobb tunes. When I bought the car, the guy had lots of custom parts on it and he had it custom tuned, but the custom tune got erased due to having to bring it in for emissions. So now, the car is completely un-tuned. So I have everything back to stock, except for my intake. What sort of values on the intake calibration should I use? Thanks!

I assume you mean that you have the AEM box with the hybrid filer? I have the same one. In your case, use Stage 0 OTS map and the above scaling values.

 

Mine doesn't have the enclosed box... it has what looks to be a box but without a top on it. On the filter itself it does say "Dryflow". What MAF settings should I use?

 

Wouldn't I set it to Stage 1 + SF and then calibrate it for the intake using the calibration guide? Stage0 is for bone stock and it would throw off the AFR if the computer thought the intake was stock.

 

Yes, apologies. Use Stage 1 OTS then use the video in the link I sent to change MAF scaling to the AEM values. The recommended routing is different for the vac lines to the EBC than what AEM shows in the directions, so make sure that you only use 1 of the two provided ports or you can/will overboost with stock EBC.

Not having the lid is no major issue. I have run mine without it. I believe that AEM will sell you one for something like $60, or I made one that is a little more unassuming out of sheet aluminum from The Home Depot and then wrinkle black paint. The fasteners are M6x1.0x10MM.
