Cobb/Tactrix compatability windows 10

Has anyone had any issues? I can't get my Cobb to work with my Surface Pro 4 which is windows 10,but I think it's due to the USB 3.0.

I tried cobb also on a laptop which was windows 10 but had USB 2.0. Should I just get tactrix cable or will it also have same issues.

You need a good USB to serial cable that works with windows 10. I have personally verified the Radioshack model (I will post back if you want the specific model) works with Windows 10 and so does the Cobb software. I tried to buy some "other" USB to serial cable and it didn't work. The radioshack one is like 30 bucks or so. I am using an ATOM based netbook, not a surface. Hope that helps.

Problem solved for anyone who was wondering.

Cobb AP needs to be updated on a windows 8.0 or below machine to newest firmware. It now works for windows 10 and usb 3.0 ports.

If you have an older AP and it doesnt work on windows 8.1 or 10 do the following above.
