ETS intake, testpipe, and 3port solenoid on evo X MR

Hey guys. So I have a 2013 MR with an ETS testpite, ETS intake, and 3port solenoid. I need some tuning advice. I hear the Cobb accesport is not a good option with the MR's and the best software is the Thetra. Is this something that you can easily download tuning maps with my current mods? Any other tuning softwares you recommend? Kinda an evo newbie but certainly not to the good old DSMs.

I think you're thinking of the Tephra software, I'm not really familiar with how it works in relation to tuning, but I know a lot of people use the Tephramod v3 for doing e85 and flex fuel tuning.

I'm doing the ETS test pipe, intake, UICP, exhaust, and 3-port this weekend. I'm getting an e-tune using the tactrix openport 2.0 with EcuFlash and EvoScan. I think tactrix with an e-tune/protune is usually the most common method.

You're running a test pipe and boost solenoid without a tune?

You need to find a good local Evo shop, and they should be able to give you a professional dyno tune on either a Cobb AP or using open source Tephra mod. It's all personal preference. The AP is nice for logging data conveniently, but is added cost and doesn't give quite as much customization as open source tuning does.

Opensource via tephra V3 is hands down the best option for the Evo X.

Contact Kozmic Motorsports and see if they can do an Etune or take the car to Kozmic Motorsports (houston, TX). Eric is an SST wizard. He did the trans tune on my car and it drives 1000x better than the day I got it. They tune the stock ECU through open source (ECU Flash and EVO Scan utilizing a Taxtrix 2.0 cable). It is sort of like ECMLink for the Evo.
