Evo X tuning evaluation

So I have a FBO 2015 evo X making 500 wheel on E85. I currently live in Pennsylvania but I’m moving to northern Idaho, will I need to get my car retuned due to elevation? TIA

Yes, it is highly likely that you will need to get your car retuned when moving to a significantly different elevation, such as from Pennsylvania to northern Idaho. Changes in altitude can have a notable impact on engine performance, especially in forced induction applications like yours.

The air density at higher altitudes is lower compared to lower altitudes. This means that the engine will receive less oxygen per unit of air, which can lead to a leaner air-fuel mixture. In order to maintain optimal performance and avoid potential engine damage, a retune is typically necessary to adjust the fueling and other engine parameters to account for the change in altitude.
