Hello. I just bought an EVO X MR Touring from out of state and it was just delivered by the hauler this weekend. My city requires emissions testing now which is something new over the past 3-4 years I guess. The EVO I bought has a decent amount of work done to it. When I took it to emissions testing, the car didn't fail, rather the diagnostic system at the emissions place couldn't connect with the OBDII system in the car (NOT READY). I'm guessing something has been disconnected or something. I know the battery died when the transporter tried to get it off the hauler and i haven't driven it much since then. I know that could mess with the diagnostics. Anyone have any info for that? This is my first EVO so still learning about the nuances of this car. -Thanks
anks

Not ready and not connected are different. You need to learn which monitors your car should have, and which ones show ready (if any). If this sounds greek to you- you bought the wrong car.

No it doesn't sound Greek, and you can go Virtue Signal and moralize to someone else Bruh. Seriously, get over yourself. Go play in traffic. Was running around this morning trying to get a bunch of **** done, busy, rushed, hence the nature of my op. But It's all good. I can see this isn't so much an enthusiast forum as it is a scenester forum for hipsters trying to put people down for asking a simple question. I can imagine a person like u with your arms crossed tryna look stern. Real hard, no doubt. Prison Aryan brotherhood **** probably.
