Last Monday, I met in an accident with a biker. He lost control and balance and hit my Evo X. The collision was so strong that his bike went under my car. The front and left sides of my car are completely damaged, and the steering rack is also damaged. I took my car to repair it as I have insurance. But they told me the steering rack is not covered by the insurance. I don't know why. Can someone try to explain why the rack is not covered by insurance and how much will it cost?

 

If the damage was caused by the accident it should be covered. It might take some annoying conversations with the insurance company to get it sorted out.

 

Everything that was damaged is covered by your insurance. If insurance is not willing to pay out then you need to figure out why the insurance adjuster is denying your coverage. Check your local state laws.
