Looks like our D.D. reads about 10% lower than your mustang... how does your mustang compare with local dynojets??

A Evo 10 put down 222awhp on your DD, a Evo 10 put down 219whp on the highest run on our mustang.

I would say that means our dynos read almost the same, not that your DD is 10% lower than our Mustang.

Let's not turn this thread into a dyno racing thread though.

No it isn't. My car ONLY has TBE, tubular headers, boost and Meth (STOCK intake, STOCK cams, STOCK intercooler, STOCK turbo, STOCK injectors, STOCK...etc). It should NOT be dyno'ing the same as this car on ANY level and definitely shouldn't be making more torque than the 12T TME turbine wheel and MIVEC on BOTH cams.

The EVO X overall is a better car than the IX, the only thing that IX is better at is staight line speed, due to the aforementioned larger turbo and less weight. Despite being heavier, and slower, the evo x out handles, out brakes, out styles inside and out, the older lighter faster IX and that is fact.
That incredibly subjective. The interior is the worst I've ever seen and doesn't even come close to my car's interior!

I wonder why every review on the X has said it is a better looking car with better interior compared to the IX? Hmmm. You are in the minority buddy.

Whatever dude. I don't know how the average IX's interior looks. I know about MY interior and to me, it looks 10X better than the X. I have Nav, MR gauge kit, metal floor decks, pedals, handbrake, etc.. Momo steering wheel is much smaller and less clunky and the suede seats look tons better (IMO) than the X's large, can't-even-see-the-rear-window recaros!

HAHA How the hell, can a thread about the x on the dyno, lead to another discussion about the interior. I honestly truely believe, that guys that have 03-06 evo weather it be an 8 or 9, completly hate on the X. Now that the car came out, and its putting down good numbers, people are still Bit*cing. Ohh and btw, the X's interior is a massive improvement over IX's. That should atleast something we all can agree on.

What are you talking about, first off this isnt a fighter jet, we have cabins, interiors, and dash boards. Not a cockpit, with a heads up display. Second, there isnt a f'ing thing you could do to your interior, to make it any differerent then the one posted in the picture. Sure you coud add guages, and pedals, and a touch screen, but it still looks, like you said plain. Now im not saying that the X's interior, is something to rant and rave about. But this should be a easy decision, aside from the big mitsu emblem on the wheel, the X's interior looks pretty good, cheep, but good.

Come on!! There is NOTHING about the X's interior that is superior to any of the previous evos! The climate knobs are WEAK! The steering wheel is HUGE!! And the dashboard has 2 GIANT gauges for speed, and rpm. You call that better????

i think i read somewhere that stated the steering wheel rim diameter was the same size as the momo...and almost all mag reviews of the 8 / 9 said that the gauges are too small and hard to read

Well that BIG Mits symbol sure does hurt my eyes and gives the appearance of a much bigger steering wheel.. It definitely has wider sidewalls for the 3 points on the wheel. Very thick.

And at least the gas, coolant has gauges.. much better than pressing a button to get the reading on that rectangular LCD.

It's funny you mention that, because the Dyno posted is of my X. I also own an Evo 8 gutted race car for track days only. So I guess i'm the minority

Update: I filled the car with 4 gal. of 100 Oct today drove around for 5 miles then did some WOT pulls in 3rd and 4th to just below redline. The car doesn't seem to buck after 5k rpms anymore as my Dynos seem to be having major retardation of timing n such.

That's good to hear. Bucking in very low and very high RPM's was an issue of mine. Well, mine and a nagging GF.
