However, the cost difference means you could buy, on average, 8 MBC before you covered the cost of a good EBC. So for 99% of the people out there, it doesnt make sense to by an EBC. Except that it has lights, and that always makes it worth it

Do you have a pic of where you mounted the control unit? I can't remember if you posted pictures over on evox or not... or here for that matter.

I have the True Boost, it is a PAIN in the *** to set the crack pressure, especially with a ported Turbo/Manifold/Ebay 02 housing (SURGE!!!!) so you would get a massive spike and then it would fall to like 19PSI. I have it set nicely now and it hits 24PSI and falls to like 22. It records with a VERY accurate map sensore and it records PEAK boost so it helps out a lot. It also can be changed on the fly, and I am likeing it, MBC was far easier but I like haveing a MAP to read my boost over a mechanical conroller.

Help

We installed the AEM TRU BOOST, and are having a conflict with some of the suggested % Duty and Spr crack pressure from the forum.

Currently running K&N cone filter.

Our AEM EBC is set to 47% Duty and 8.0 crack pressure. 23 PSI peak - 16.5PSI
This was trial and error in 2nd and 3rd pulls.

We tried some suggested 58% duty with 12.0 crack pressure, and had 25+ PSI PEAK, and got the CEL in 5th that some others got.

BOTTOM LINE is in curreny setup with K&N Id like to be running a steady and safe 24PSI PEAK and 18.5-19 PSI steady. Any suggestion what are we doing wrong etc.

In the future we will add Agency Power full Exhaust, AP Intake, AP hard pipe.

If anyone can shead light on this topic, your help is appreciated so thank you in advance. Pictures of your install, details on your install etc are all appreciated.

Allen

How complicated is it too hook up the AEM Tru boost gauge? What is needed to be connected?
Has anyone else have any issues hooking up their tru boost?
^25 Psi is that too high for stock?
