The single large muffler is to much rice for me.

Just went to get the kakimoto installed over the weekend! more pics to follow! limited by 5 only! Sound is quiet on idle, but on wot, sounds like an external wastegate! internal pipe diameter is 2.91", my mate put in a trust exhaust on the same day his car is more boomy at idle, trust is 2.71" piping. piping dia measure by vernier calipers, could be slightly off, but gives all an idea!

Some pics we took the next day, both exhaust are nice, but 2 totally different looks and sounds! Trust is aural and throaty all the time, Kaki makes heaps of noise after 3500rpm!

Is the sound at idle really a big difference between the trust and kaki? I believe the Kaki is louder than the Trust at higher rpm?

Karam, can you post pics from directly behind the car on both exhausts?

I heard that the kakimoto tapers down where it meets the cat. Is this true or is it truly 2.91 inches all the way through?

Kaki is opening up more, but trust is more boomy at idle still! like a wrx! hehe
Kaki is way louder at wot tho!
its very dramatic, at 3500 when boost hits, it sounds like a hurricane! haha
whereas the trust is always audiable!
i dont know how i'm going to get soundclips as im shifting house and have packed my video camera away...

the entire centre pipe is 2.91 inch, it tapers down where the pipe splits into two, didnt measure this, but think is 60mm on the website, and same as trust when that tapers!

designs are so similar, kaki sits lower to the ground and has smaller rear canisters, but larger centre canister. piping wise, centre is 2.91 for kaki and 2.71 for trust, rear piping same dia! my friend is building for torque, im building for outright power!

Hey Karam,

I'm one of them Kakimoto owners in SG. How's the exhaust shaping up for you so far? BTW, is the black X lowered?
