XtremeBoost's X at the track; Best 12.3@109

Edit: I just read the slips and looked at the date today, this was Wednesday and Friday, I don't know why the dates are off.

Got out to the track on 4/23 and again last night, 4/25, made some great passes. After Wednesday's runs we were hoping to better them last night and then post, but the boost wasn't up how we wanted. Tried to bring my camera for pictures and video and I forgot the damn thing.

Mods are all made by Frank@XtremeBoost:

Intake, UICP, LICP, tubular exhaust manifold, turbo back exhaust (includes turbo outlet), ACT clutch (stock flywheel), Greddy E01 EBC.

Stock turbo, pump gas, zero tuning. Not sure on weight but the standard stuff was taken out (spare, tools).

4/23 boost was 22-23 psi. Temps were in the low 70's according to the Evo. Still trying to figure out the launch with the stock 2-step, first night with the new clutch. The slips go right to left for order, hit the limiter in 4th on each run, shifted to 5th early on the 3rd run:

4/25 boost was 20-21 psi, couldn't get it right. This night was hotter too, went from 80's to high 70's. Messed with the tire pressure a bit, seemed to help but its still spinning. This was the final run, hitting the limiter before the end.

Coming along...very impressive times! These cars are getting good ETs for the traps they are putting out considering the 60fts.

12.3@109 with no ecu tuning. Very impressive. 1.7x 60 is not to bad either =]

I wonder how much the tubular exhaust manifold helped out. I think your the first with one.

There was the "standard" weight reduction done, spare tire, jack, etc.. We did do one extra unstandard removal of weight, but I'm not sure on the savings. We are going to try and get the car weighed soon.

There was a great change in the power with the manifold, definitely flows a lot more.

Also the car didnt get tuned today, but we are going to the track again Wednesday to try and better our times.

Thanks . And yes it is pretty nice and more so since we're one of the few still running an un-modified turbo . The mani is a huge help from what I've seen , but the twin mivec is killer !! Yesterday we put down 347 hp @ 17.8lbs , I had to check my log twice just to make sure that number was right . The car hit 22lbs at around 4k rpm's then dropped to just under 18 the rest of the way due to some insane heat-soak due to just one small fan in front of the car and another fan like 8 feet away . We're going back this Wednesday and we do expect to run the car at 24lbs and with less tire pressure so we do not get the tire spin that has been killing us . We'll post those slips as soon as we get them .

Depends on the dynos. Not sure which one this was on, but AMS and Al both are in the 350s range with their dynos.

Quite honestly as long as it backs it up on the track I could care less about the numbers. The 12.3 with his mods and no tune is what is impressive.

AMS and everyone else is running a test pipe, which he did not mention, a intercooler, which he did not mention, and some other stuff.
