Without using the Force, I mean. I have installed a ton of them on my garage floor into VIIIs and IXs. The X ones are just unbelievably tough.

I got the midpipe down with ease, then pulled the factory K brace. The problem is the factory sprung bolts that hold the stock DP to the O2 housing. The right one looks tricky, the left one... ...Oh the left one. Yeah, I have NO IDEA HOW IN THE CRAP I can get to that. You must need perfect sized extensions. I went from the bottom, went from the top, and decided to wait until I am at the shop next weekend where there is a lift.

I think Yoda installed these exhausts from the factory and just told the bolts to go in. Massive PITA.

Ohh... come on now Noize, you are not going to let some tinsey little bolt smack you around are you?

I remember trying to get a bolt off of the hotside on my VIII once and the little biach rounded off sending my hand into the razor sharp cooling fan housing..

I too would wait util I had the proper tools instead of jacking something up.

Or worse getting it off and then not being able to get it back on. That nearly happened to me when I decided to change the valve springs withthe head onand did not have what I needed. Ended up cuting a side out of a deep socket to get the damnthings compressed to put the retainers on..

yea you either need a swivel you might be able to finagle from the top when the heat shield is off.

LOL I'm no mechanic when it comes to part names.

The downpipe should yieild about 7whp gains.

Butt Dyno was happy when I got it installed, the spool and throttle response got better.

Did anybody notice the inside of the CAT? Looks like a chain reactor inside. LOL
