Point is... You can't compare these things by price.
It truly comes down to how baller you want to be. If you have the money to burn, why not? I'd rock it if I had $3500 to spare. And people who wouldn't would probably not understand the value of it to begin with...
Same reason why people buy Rolex instead of Timex... both tell times... one is obviously MORE EXPENSIVE.
If you can get this, more power to you!

It has been known that people acquire this exhaust for about $2,900. In the end it all depends on the yen rate. This exhaust came out back when the yen rate was 110-115. After the yen rate dropped to 84-91, companies had to increase their prices or else go out of business.
The reality of the situation is that with the yen rate being what it is, companies can't afford to offer the same prices because we all end up losing money. Granted we are all trying to keep the prices as close to our initial prices but in the end, all companies are very limited on the amount that they can work with.

I completely agree with you. The reality of the tuning industry in Japan is a sad story. The economy isn't as strong as it use to be in Japan, and companies such as Amuse are relying on distributors such as us to continue moving their product because not a whole lot of people in Japan are modifying their cars. It is kind of like a double edged sword because at this point in time a lot of companies are relying on export in order to stay in business.

We are currently willing to offer a discount to anyone who purchases an exhaust within the next few weeks. Amuse is an exclusive company and there are only a handful of people with this exhaust. If you are interested please PM me with a request. Keep in mind that the pricing will change as the yen rate changes but I will still offer a discount with a solid price.

This is a exhaust is a piece of art which truly needs to be seen and touched to be appreciated. I love mine so much that at times I find myself creeping below my car simply to observe how the mid-pipe slowly changes color over time.
