I just saw this thread and am wondering how no one knew that Mishimoto has already released their Evo X Aluminum Radiator. Its been available for months.

I already ordered mine and have it installed. It works great and am extremely happy with the product all around. Installing it was a breeze, it slid right in with no complications along the way. They may be on back order right now, because my buddy just tried to order his and they told him they’d be back in stock within the next 2 weeks… Here’s the Mishimoto Radiator installed in my Evo X

If you wanna check it out here's the link

It would be interesting to compare dimensions since it is like $300 less.

I don't think dimensions are going to justify a $300.00 price difference.

Some Vendors price there parts higher/ lower... cause there built with better cores, or have higher/lower overhead. (Not saying PWR/Mishimoto falls into any of those catergories)

PWR's history in the performance Radiators sceen is 2nd to none.

Do research on both companies... read reviews for both companies, I don't think you will be dissappointed w/ either choice.

Good luck,

Chris

exactly right,

we produce ours in small quantities and by hand. one person makes them...

also, we use the highest quality cores we can find... visteon and delphi.... we sold 3 evo rads to a rally team and they complained that they cooled to well and have to tape off the front of the car lol.

I wish I could make them cheaper but I cant.....

my point

My point was that PWR is not the industries first to produce a performance radiator for the EVO X. PWR's wont be out for what, another 7 weeks? Just letting everyone know that Mishimoto's rad is top quality and already on the market....

No one "claimed" that PWR was the first, nor do I care if Mishimoto is the 1st or last. My original post has nothing to do with Mishimoto radiators, so I don't even know where you get off posting in this thread anyways. I posted a thread a while ago, asking if anyone had any info on any kind of aftermarket radiator, no one seemed to know **** then.

That is what I will need. With the temp reaching 107 this week I sure could of used one. I am pretty sure you will never hear someone from Texas say " We will need to tape part of it off"

Think you've had one to many

I think I could have worded that better, but what I ment, was the FIRST PWR Radiator, thats all... no more, no less.

Good day

Is the radiator already on your car? Maybe I can ask RRE is measure the dimensions.

My car is pushing close to 350 whp and I've tracked the car when it's close to 100 F, so far no overheating. The stock radiator has been pretty good me so far. And I've been running 25 minute sessions.

Still, I should get a larger capacity radiator. Better safe than sorry. There are so many stuff still to put on my car, and it seems like the list is growing...

Thanks for sharing the info. Good luck with your car.
