DP/TP combo , should be done by end of day. :)

After removing an o2 housing some time ago, i realized how much of a nightmare it is to remove. The average home installer will not be able to do it especially with out a lift so i figured I would make a Downpipe Testpipe combo piece.

Today ill be working on that and hope to have a sample done by the end of the day. Feel free to post options, request and/or recommendations etc.

Happy boostin,

Hec

The first piece will be a proto tack welded etc just so you have an idea on what to expect.

Oh yeah, i hate spring bolt type flanges so im going to see if i can make that a solid joint and ill put a flex in there instead. K i guess i should stop hitting the snooze button on my alarm and make my way to the shop.

xtremeboost car has one on it already, it just has not been jigged yet and he is going itno surgery today so nto sure when ill work on that one.

This current setup more people will be able to install in one hr time. The o2 is an all day thing just to remove (assuming you've mad skillz yo).

lol at "really special flange". Can't wait to see the final product, the IC pipes looked good (any plans on them in aluminum?).

I might do them in aluminum if i can source a reliable tubing supplier for it. Its really not that big of a difference. ALuminum does a better job at heat transfer, great for an FMIC, however the pipe will have x degree temps running through it regardless of what material its made of so if your road racing etc, temps will not change. Steel will take longer to cool down after your done playing and its a little lighter.

It got to late, i had issues with the upper flange so i only made a prototype testpipe and cb.

I managed to get a flange that will work but i have to see how i go about getting a car to the shop again.
