I've just been ignoring it the past week or so. I'm back home, so I should have some time to look into it.

Mine has been on for about 2 weeks. An OBDII scan of both the engine side and transmission side show no trouble codes. However my car is stored in a heated garage and it has been as high as low 60s in my area with no change in the behavior of the SAWC trouble light.

Did the previous JDM evos with S-AWC run in to problems like this?

Is there an additive that can be added to stablize the viscosity?

Can vendors make some somthing to help stabilize the viscosity of the oil?

i haven't. it's hard to hand over my car to the dealer... last time they had it they didn't find the problem within a couple days and i needed it to get to school so i took it back.

i need to go soon though, it's super annoying to hear that beeping on startup every time i drive.

Well, thought I'd throw some more useless information onto the fire.

I haven't managed to get it into the dealer yet (for similar reasons as above), but while installing some audio stuff, I had the battery disconnected.

Battery disconnected = ECU reset ≠ SAWC reminder off.

It didn't change anything. I didn't really expect it to, but I was hoping.

Sometimes if you put the car in gear and just drive right away the warning doesnt come up for a few minutes. Not sure what that means other then the sensors pick up the issue each time rather then just keeping that light on.

It may be the steering wheel position sensor.. I had the warning come one recently.. So far it hasn't returned. Have it scanned. The codes will be stored in the SAWC module or the ABS module. Not eng or trans.

I have an appointment early next week. If Fusion doesn't have a wonderful answer (I hope so!), then I may have something next week.
