Just picked up a Cosworth drop-in filter for my IX from RRE. Its a washable filter that requires no oil. RRE told me they dyno'd a Cosworth filter, HKS, K&N dropins on a X and all the filters were inline with each other. They also said the filter looks,feels, smells like AEM Dryflow filters. I'm assuming the results would be similar on a VIII or IX. Now i can clean my filter and don't need no stinkin oil

Shop told me you can use AEM's dryflow cleaning kit

They also said you can use dish wash soap+ water.

well i have it and i didnt notice a diff copming from a works drop in to the cosworth drop in.. the filter also looks like it ill filter more dirt from coming in.. plus its (ISO5011:200 Fine Dust Test)

It actually looks more like the new Amsoil nanfibre filters than the AEM.
