How's T1R product?

I'm planning to get the cat-back exhaust system + test pipe for my EVO X, and wondering between AMS and T1R.

since I'm in canada, it's easier and maybe cheaper to get T1R(Vancouver) then AMS(states).

How's T1R in overall compare to AMS? Quality, sound.

Sound is subjective so I would take a look here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...st-thread.html

T1R isn't much louder than stock and it is dual. AMS makes quality products and always has but they only offer single right now. I'd wait for dual AMS if I were you.

They both are great companies. I Know that T1-R is big in the Honda world and they have quality parts. But it depends if you want dual or single.

I live in Chicago, about 30 mins away from AMS, and I still ordered a T1R exhaust for my Evo. That should tell you something.

I love AMS products, but I wanted a dual exhaust, and the sound+fit and finish on the T1R exhaust is perfect.

+1, AMS is a reputable brand and company dedicated to Evo. Can`t go wrong.

I'd go T1R. REALLY great product and they stand behind it 100%. Can't go wrong there. Another Canadian option is Ultimate Racing who also offer a dual. Another great company with excellent customer service!

I stand back by UR 100%, but the AMS and T1R are both high quality. Picking the best between the three is anyones guess.

I would get T1R since you are local, heck, go over to their store and they will show you the exhaust, you can decide for yourself if it is good. The welding on the exhaust is excellent btw, its really shiney and its priced pretty competitive compared to US company, since the dollars is so high right now...
