Gsr 5 speed clutch pill removal?

Does the new GSR transmission / hydraulic system still have a restrictor in the slave cylinder? Like in the previous VIII or IX.

just open up clutch slave cylinder...should be bolted to the tranny...just disconnect the hardline from the cylinder itself and have a look inside the slave...its either there or it isnt

Thank you for the information

So a EVO IX or VIII clutch line will work in a X?

meh, when your fingers start sticking to exposed metal, its time to toss in the towel.

My 99 GSX is currently eating up garage space while i get her ready for the summer. no time to see if silly little clutch lines will fit or not.

I did take it out when I bled my system doing my brake lines.

You remove the spring and the little black stopper. As well as be sure to regrease the rubber piston with some lithium grease.

It gives the clutch a more positive feel, definitely easier if you plan on launching you car alot. Since the clutch just grabs. I have it done on all my Mitsu's over the years. No ill effects.
