Question about Down pipe.

I am about to get a tune and was wondering if I should get a dp before the tune.
My current mods are BR intake, Nisei Engineering 1pc UIP, AMS hfc, and mxp cbe.
I have heard you don't get that much power with an upgraded dp...Have I heard wrong?
So...should I spend the extra money on a dp, or leave what I have and get a tune?

Thank you.

I think you are fine with what you have. Get it tuned as is. That is what I would do.

If it was me, I'd get an O2 downpipe that attaches to the turbo, and then go for a tune. From that you'll get some decent gains. Replacing the downpipe alone, which attaches to the stock O2 housing, won't get you a single horsepower.

If you are planning on a dp, get the o2/dp and then tune. A few vendors on here are claiming 10+ with tune after installing the o2dp. I also keep reading the dp without the o2 housing has no gains.

ETS, xtremeboost, ultimate racing, AMS all make one. Look at the marketplace vendors section and there are links to all their sites. AMS's dp is being preordered right now and should be available in april.

Wise man once say "Nothing in life worth having comes easy".

Or you could go with my favorite saying "It's all just nuts and bolts"
