HKS vs. T1R Piping diameters...

Guys, I've narrowed it down to the HKS and the T1R exhausts....both have titanium tips, not too loud, and dont have individual mufflers hanging to the ground....however the T1R has 76mm piping while the HKS has 60mm piping...ive always been under the assumption that wider is better on turbos.

Is this a correct assumption? Does one make more power than the other? And how is the T1R so quiet if it's so much wider?

Any 3rd party dyno's would be great too, for either system.

Depending on your HP goal both would be a good option and both seem to be of very good quality. I would say that if you plan on 450awhp plus go with the larger piping T1R. If your going to keep the stock turbo get what you like they will more likely yeild the same gains.

Go T1R. Bigger is better with turbo cars and it is a top notch product and excellent service. They are also supporting vendors unlike HKS.

I think HKS is a bit overpriced for what you get. Go with T1R if you are deciding between the two, although I personally like Greddy SE
