1.3 Bar Radiator Cap For A Daily Driver?
Anybody running a 1.3 bar radiator cap on their daily driver Evo X? I know Ralliart has one:

If so, any issues that I should be concerned about?

My concern would be can the rest of the stock cooling system take the extra pressure.
I say useless bling because the daily driver will never push their cars to the degree where a 1.3 bar cap will become useful even in the summer. You'd have to redline the sh*t out of it.
The stock system is probably not rated at 1.3 bar pressure. Most track cars will have aftermarket radiators, seals and pump, not just a cap. But you already sound convinced about making the purchase so I'm not going to argue.

Hence why I started this thread.

yea higher rated rad cap is really only useful for a track driven car. it does provide a bit of overheating protection because it keeps your coolant in a liquid state better. the higher you can keep the liquid pressurized, the more it stays in liquid form which means it runs through your radiator better (than boiled coolant) which means it will cool better.
I'd say if you're tracking your car it's a good finishing touch to an uprated radiator, and pure water with water wetter. of course it all depends on how often you track and what kind of driving you do.
