That looks horrible! Well on to bigger and better things. I drove my friends X today with an Exedy Stage 2, and it grabs very nice to say the least. Did you get the Stage 2, or the Twin plate?

By the looks of your other clutch, you'll probably need it in a good 6500 miles.

how long does the avg evo X clutch last if the driver knows how to drive stick and doesnt do any launches and pretty much only daily driving?

My transmission acts funny but the clutch is still grabbing rather good and I'm at 15k almost into the 16k area.

My clutch is still fine at 19.7k miles It has had a few hard launches on the street but that's about it.

well my new clutch is installed,gotta get used to how it grabs but other than that i love it. sorry for not takin install pics but we were just tryin to get done asap an i'm exhausted....oh and the car feels so much more powerful now. when we were puttin the car back together we installed the hks wastegate actuator and the car keeps way more power all the way through every gear. it pulls like crazy. anyways....sleep is good....lol goodnight

if u drive it like its a minivan yeah.....why would you want to buy an evo if your not going to have fun in it? It's common knowledge that evo clutches suck.

Yes some people keep their feet on the clutch all the time!
Stock clutch release higher, so make it really hard to drive, I test drive 2008 STI and clutch, Transmission was awesome. It was Clike Click Click when i was changing gears!
To be honest, Mitsubishi saved money on clutch and transmission!

I agree about the clutch but the X transmission is actually pretty beefy. I dont think that was something that they skimped on.

we have a Evo X running 351whp on stock clutch and the other Evo X is abused at the track with a FPred and stock clutch
