The one in the video has their "quiet" exhaust on it. You can order their "bullet" muffler and it certainly will NOT be quiet

Yes, the link I posted was of the quiet system. You want it loud? That is no problem! haha We can use the standard bullet muffler which is substantially louder or if you want to just **** off everyone we can use no muffler or our SD muffler.

David, I wanted your exhaust even before I picked up my X but 850 just seems too much for a very "simplistic" exhaust but hell Im sure it works incredible.

Im still debating on what to get and its between the Buschur, UR and who else knows...almost a grand on a catback is nuts - this is when I miss my STI.

The cp-e exhaust is great... though it looks low, it isn't even the lowest part of my car. Plus, they are local, which means you save the money from shipping too!

$850 includes the shipping, which is atleast $75 because of the oversized shipment. It's the lightest available, 304 grade SS and I'll put money on it being the highest flowing. $850 sounds like a bargain to me.

So it outflows the basically straight tubing of a single outlet exhaust?

I don't like the idea that you can see the exhaust hanging from the rear on the cp-e unit. I would prefer it to tuck a little better like an OEM unit.

Just ordered your exhaust because it says specials for the Evolution X for 815 shipped!

Great ultimateone, thank you.

The exhaust is straight through, the wye where we make our dual tips go from 3" to two 3" pipes with no loss of diameter of the tubing.

Split to 2 2.5 sections makes no difference. We did some dyno testing one day and went between the dual set-up (splits to 2.5 inch) and compared it to the single set-up with no muffler and this was the difference...

Nice comparison on the twin 2.5" pipes. I agree with you as long as the transition is done properly and we are split into twin 3" pipes.

sorry to thread jack but what does everyone think of the speedcircuit exhauast. im contemplating ordering this today. its expensive but it is by far the best sounding exhaust in my opinion. i had narrowed it down to ams dual and speedcircuit, and i think i like the tips better on SC too. any opinions, maybe the OP wants to look at this too.

there not a vendor so i wont post a link, but go to google, search speedcircuit and its under evo x.

It's also in the sticky at the top of the forum... that has all the exhausts available in it.

I think it's an excellent exhaust. I was contemplating the same exact two exhausts. I've decided to go with the AMS simply because I can get it a little cheaper and I think they both look and sound great!
