Fitment Issues with XtremeBoost Downpipe

I ordered my XtremeBoost open dump downpipe quite a while ago from Speedclinic before all of the drama went down. It took a bit to receive because of that drama.

I figured it would just be bolt on and go, but it definitely is not.

Today I went to install it and realized that the flange that mates with the turbo is not even close to being level. Awesome. Granted, I should have checked to see before I went to install it since I had heard other people having such issues.

Well, now I have to get the flange planed so that way I can actually install it without having any issues of leaks or cracking the head from trying to tighten it. The flange is extremely thick, so there's no forgiveness. It won't be able to just form to the head.

Maybe next week I'll be able to install it.

Edited for addition of pictures (tried to get as many angles as possible to show the defect):

I guess I'm just one of the unlucky ones. I'm guessing multiple people had the problem but didn't check before the install so they are none-the-wiser. I'm glad yours worked for you though.

That's what I'm going to do. I figure they'll just be able to plane it.

Yeah that is bad, not even close. I hope they do something to make things right for you, but either way, something that far off, I won't waste anytime buying parts from them.

Thanks for sharing your experience with their product. It definitely helps when its time to make a decision on the "bolt on" I'll be buying.

Wow that looks terrible. I've never seen a flange that warped before.
