So i've decided to stick w/ the stock exhaust and go with an electric cutout. I've decided to go with the 3" quicktime electronic cutout kit. My question is, is there anywhere along the downpipe that can weld the pipe on to? I kinda wanted to keep the stock cat but wanted to place the cutout before the cat. Will this work?

 

i think people have tried, but the stock dp is too short to add the cutout to it. only option is getting rid of the cat

even if you were to get it to fit on the dp, i don't think there would be enough room for that unit where the stock dp sits
