Installed the 3" Buschur Bullet catback

Just threw on the catback, and man this car sounds so mean now but I cant even imagine if I ever ran a test pipe - I think I might go HFC or a resonated Test pipe. Catback has great welds though and they built this through the Sport Compact Nats for me. So a huge thanks go out to the Buschur crew and Dave!!!!

Nice choice, it's my favorite exhaust for the X. I had a resonator welded in place of the muffler on mine, and I also have a HFC and it is LOUD.

To be honest it reminds me of my SRT-4 almost. I had my friend drive by me last night and I couldnt believe how awesome it sounds.

I have the same exhaust... I hate it.

Good luck with yours.

On another note, I am running mine with a resonated test pipe now, and yes it is pretty loud. If you still want that HP benefit of a test pipe but not the huge sound, go with the minimuffler test pipe offered my Ultimate Racing.

Did bushur ever fix the low hanging muffler? It hung down like 3 inches from the stock.

They claimed that it wasn't a problem and that it was part of their design. They said they never encountered problems with how low it hung and they weren't planning on fixing it.... Yeah, isn't a problem at all

The main reason I hate my Buschur exhaust.

I had major problems with bottoming out the muffler and I dented it up pretty well. I had a smaller resonator welded in its place and now there is plenty of ground clearance but it's too loud. My only other gripe is the fact that the tips rust like hell, even after polishing them every time I wash the car.

well, a "problem" is whatever that impedes normal function...and a "low hanging exhaust" doesn't exactly fit that category. besides, you'll only have problems if you slam your car or go over ridiculously high inclines, which you should be careful with anyway as long as you're lowered.

Oh, so you mean putting 2 sets of golf clubs in the trunk and a passenger in the front seat and all of a sudden my exhaust cant make it over speed bumps, no matter what the angle... yeah daily function is still there

My car is stock height by the way.
