Which exhaust drones?

I just wanted to see which of the exhausts out there drones. If you bought an exhaust and it drones let me know what it is so I can take it off my list.

ETS V2 has a very forgiving drone. But yes it drones.

I just went with the T1R TP & Exhaust. It has been proven to gain power, no drone, quiet on the highway, and a nice WOT growl. Perfect in my book. Price is very comporable to other exhausts. Straight through 3" pipe too, unlike the Magnaflow, HKS legamax, etc...

I have specialty-x which had a real bad drone with a race pipe...so I bought the ur mini muffler and it got rid of almost all of it without impacting performance.

yes, it droned a bit for the rear passengers. i added two resonators into the midpipe and the droning was gone. granted it's extra work, but if you add it up it's still cheaper than most of the competition out there. you can't get more droning than mine, unless you have a test pipe. so i'd say it's pretty safe to assume most won't be bothered by it other than the most picky, which i assume you are, which i would recommend adding resonators to kill the droning.

Well if you go from free flowing downpipe to a free flowing test pipe to a restricted opening in the catback I think it will impact performance. I usually like to keep all my piping the same diameter to decrease turbulence and excessive back pressure changes.

free-flowing as in flow, cfm, right? whether or not it's a straight pipe has minimal impact on that, as long as the pipe doesn't have turbulence, which is why there are mandrel bent and cast pipes.

I got a full Perrin Turboback w/ high-flow cat (comes as a 1pc downpipe) and no drone at all! Actually car is barely louder on highway in 5th... eitherway, i love it.
