I have a down pipe, cat-delete, and full 3 inch exhaust system. I have been fighting the SES light with the non-foulers and I keep getting an intermittent light one day its on and then its off for three days did antone have this problem please let me know what you all did. I tried both short and long non-foulers and keep getting the code. Just let me know what you did to beat the touchy sensor.

Is it just the 02 sensor code or are you getting something else? P1235?

Its the code for low voltage meaning the sensor is to far out of the exhaust stream. I checked it at my friends work I don't remember the code and my OBD II scanner wont read my car for some reason it says ..error..but it works on every other OBD II car in the freaking world????

Ok the codes are P0004 (Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit High) , P0420 (Catalyst Efficency Below Threshold), and P0137 (O2 Sensor Circuit Low Volts Bank 2). But this has to be fixed by either moving O2 sensor farther out or closer to the exhaust stream.

That is my question --- IF YOU DO have a cat-delete ( AND AN EVO X)...HOW did you beat the sensor so it doesn't kick up codes??

It sounds like you have a bad O2 sensor. The 420 code is the only one you should be getting

No the sensor is new replaced that already. I think I just have to play in and out with the sensor with non foulers to make it happy. But you cant move it to far out cause it wont heat up enough!! Needs to heat to around 600 degrees to be happy...

P0420 is the test pipe code.

I get P0137 with the test pipe and high flow cat (both UR products BTW) when I get on the car before the rear o2 sensor has had a chance to heat up.

The first code, I don't know what that is.

And regarding your scanner, the X is CAN bus and a lot of scanners can't read can bus.

All the AMS cel kit is, is a spark plug de-fouler just like I bought drilled out to 1/2" so the sensor fits through it. I bought the de-fouler for $5 the AMS costs $20 you get the same thing for $15 bucks less I just have to keep adding more de-foulers and trying different hole sizes till I make the sensor happy. Right now I have two on there but still get P0420 and P0004 codes cause its reading too much fuel still. I really prob just need to get a tune and lean out the engine a little. I have no AFR gauge so ???
