Forge RS BOV does fit EVO X ***Pics Inside***

I just upgraded the stock recirc-valve to a FORGE RS recirc-valve. It does hold boost better than my stock BOV from the data logging off my COBB AP. The sound does change a tad bit, has a distinct "whooosh" to this valve. Very clean and not rice.

The Valve fits better than OEM with COBB Hardpipe Kit and COBB turbo inlet. Works perfect. No issues.

How to adjust.

Forge RS Spring @ Rest 0 Clicks = 7psi Tension
Forge RS Spring @ 24psi Max Boost 33 Clicks = 24 psi Tension

The adjustment knob is ratcheted and there are 4 "clicks" per 1 full revolution of the
knob (360 degrees). There are also roughly 13 full revolutions meaning about 52
"clicks" to provide a wide range of adjustment.

The relationship between the clicks of the knob and the spring pressure is not
completely linear, however, and each click of the adjustment knob is NOT necessarily
good for 0.519 PSI as predicated by the above numbers (roughly 2 clicks per 1 PSI).

Instructions from Forge:

PICS

Cheers

I have the same bov and it works great. You do need an intake otherwise you won't hear the blow off. I set mine to 25 psi. Hope this helps! The instructions on forge website are pretty straight forward. Basically you have to figure it out for yourself

not sure if you guys get the issue, but on my 8 I had problems with it surging in mid boost in like 4th-5th gear.
If you get this, swap the BOV around and that will help it significantly

Also i notice the sound changes significantly with adjustment.

Yes. The 8/9 Forge RS valve is what I use. I know on ebay they now list it as a 8/9/X valve. There is many for sale used on the 8/9 boards for more than half the price of a new one. You can get one in great condition for about $100 bucks.

Is the boost pressure adjusted on this bpv by how much vacuum there is at idle? or just the peak boost?
