whenever i start my car after about at least ten or twelve hours of it just sitting (like in the morning) i hear a popping or very faint knocking sound and i think its coming from the engine bay. my exhuast is fully stock and i know the stock exhuast pops too but this sounds like its coming from upfront. anyone else with the same noise? thanks in advance

 

I would check your motor mounts if they are still intact.

 

i had my girlfriend turn on the car while i had the hood open and my head right above the engine and i couldnt hear the popping at that point.......but when i would move towards the center of the car i heard the popping, so i think the exhuast for whatever reason it pops, just sounds like its coming from the engine but its actually not the engine is ok
