I would have chosen Bushurs Intercooler version. It's much beefier.

Get it tuned and post new numbers w/ the AMS intercooler installed.
bigger isn't always better, bigger core leads to more pressure drop across the core. Yes, bigger would create a larger heat sink, but stock turbo cars don't need an intercooler built to flow a 35r. Besides, bar and plate > tube and fin any day.

I'm going with the AMS front mount because no modification needs to be done to install it.

Yea if you didn't get the UICP and LICP as well. Easy but time consuming.

This.

You aren't going to feel any difference unless you're running enough boost on an aftermarket turbo where you're heatsoaking it and starting to detonate. I suppose there's the possibility of better performance at nominal boost levels to record some improvement, but not through the butt dyno.

Yea. Keep in mind I live in FL though. Get's pretty hot here, so I bet it would make some difference with high ambient temps.

Looks like a few people installed FMIC's this weekend! Sweet!

Looks the same, but one is shinnier and says AMS. \:
Well guess the AMS gives you a few more horses than the stock one. Coolios! [:

Well yeah, that's about what I said. I went though the same thing when I installed a FMIC on my Eclipse, and I live in AL.
