My car makes exceptional power. I am using the smallest Cosworth cam they offer with stock springs/retainers, car runs absolutely perfectly all the way to the 8800 rpm rev limiter I have set up.

As for 500 whp that is a stretch on the Dominator turbo. I made 450 whp on a Dynojet which is what Ivey has. That was on straight pump gas at about 25 psi of boost. I would venture to say 500 whp on that turbo would be tought to achieve.

I'll tell you this, stop thinking about the dyno numbers. It's the overall power delivery of the car you need to worry about. Everyone is worried about the "upper right corner", there is more to the dyno sheet than that area and I can assure you the rest of the graph is more important.
very ture im not all about numbers at the end of the day if i have 400whp and can run 11s all day i am very happy

I suck at driving a 5 speed on the drag strip, my EVOX just went 11.97 last night and two 12.0's, at 122+mph each run. So the Dominator 2 turbo will for sure get you all the power you need to get the job done. We do sell these too, so you guys know

Order most of my parts last night. All I have to get now is a Tubular Manifold, the Cosworth Cams, and the Dom 2. Than Ill put everything on when I get home. Than take a trip to New Jeresy to see Sean Ivey for a tune.

The motor its-self will not have any issues but speaking for myself - we bent the valves at around 8,500 rpms due to floating them and from what we knows we're not alone in that department .

I think 7800-8000 is about the safe typical limit so far. If you are fearless I guess 8500 is possible but not recommended without at least stiffer valve springs. Getting ANY knock at that high RPM would also be dicey of course. Personally I'll just go a little slower to know my motor will hold together with less risk of failure.

Our car ran 11.71 at 124 yesterday on 93 octane only at full weight. The car is running over 8500 rpm through the finish line in 4th. No problems. Stock springs/retainers and shortblock.
