P1235 damn it
P1235 damn it
Threw a P1235 about a week back and have tried using different maps with lower boost to avoid overboosting...still throws an SES after a few minutes of semi hard driving each time.
I've got full TBE with boost pill removed, UICP/LICP and SF intake....initially running Cobb stage 2+...then tried stage 2...now stage 1+ and still no luck.
My thoughts are that it's the sensor then...but is it worth spending 100 bucks just to get a new one and find out? I personally dont feel like going thru the hassle of removing the exhaust (posted on that nightmare earlier) just to take it up to the dealership and have them fix it...anyone had this issue before and fixed it?

You are making more power and pulling in more air now, so you need to adjust those tables.....
Is the map from Cobb you using made foe the intake that you have, much like the AEM one?

Yup i'm using the Cobb Stage 2+ SF and I have the Cobb SF Intake.... evolvingevo, are you just clearing them everytime they happen then? I'm looking for a legit solution lol....my come on after maybe 10 mins of medium intensity driving after a reset.

as soon as I put the UICP and test pipe on, my stage 2 custom map started P1235'ing all the time. You need a custom map for the Accessport when you have intercooler pipes and a test pipe.
ETA: by "all the time" I mean on the way to work and then on the way home, every day, for a week. It stopped when I uninstalled the accessport.

Not just a tune, but a proper tune will fix it. Truth be told, there is a difference. Its a shame that "tuned" cars are still throwing such codes. Good luck with your issue...I know how you feel.
I have a custom tune that was sent to me by someone that was on another site and having the same problems. It is a Buschar tune that was modified by gunzo. We both have a MR and almost the exact same setup(only differance is he has fimc and piping) but I am flashing this tune into my ECU today or tomm and I will let you guys know if it gets rid of these codes!
I used to have a EBC but just recently removed it do to the fact of overboosting so I switched back to ECU controlled boost and it is much better now but problem still not solved! I believe that the problem is in the afr... when I hit higher boost my wideband spikes at 10.0:1 which is waaaaay to rich and because its spiked I could only imagine what I am really running (prob 9-9.5:1). I am hoping that this tune will clear things up....
I'll keep everyone updated!

I was just going up to my local tuning shop and having them flash this into the ECU using ecuflash. I went up there two days ago to have this done but they didn't have the updated hardware that supports the evo X (ecu flash v2.0) so he oredered it and that is why I said it should be done hopefully today or tomm.
The old flash that you speak of is still from the factory!
