New install: Invidia Q300

Well, I pulled the trigger on an Invidia Q300 cat back about a week ago. I wanted an exhaust that didn't make the car sound like a v6 mustang but something pure enough to make it sound like a true evo. Well, needless to say that the Q300 is both of those. The dual burnt tip looks absolutely stunning on the car, and the sound is awesome. Not raspy, not too ricey sounding, just a perfect mix of everything your looking for in an exhaust note. The fitment was superb, the only "difficult" part about it was trying to get the only flange to fit in the stock cat heat shield. But other than that, it was a super easy install, took me an hour to take off the old one, un-box the Invidia and get it on and ready to run. The slip clamps make this exhaust super easy to install, and keep the exhaust running high and tight up against the car so it doesn't scrape on anything and everything. Enough with my blabbing, onto the goods-

nope. unclipped one of the sides and bolted it back down. Didn't have to remove the heat shield, just separated the two halves, stuck in the flange, and tightened down with the stock bolts.

^do you or anyone know if Invidia used a chambered muffler with the Q300 or does it have an internal Y-pipe?

The exhaust looks great, except the burnt tips.

In my opinion, they look the gay rainbow flag.

Sounds good! If it flows well, too, then its doing its job But I do gotta agree that the tips like a bit misplaced. Maybe tucking them in a bit would help, or maybe its just the depth of the blue against the fascia.

i could probably loosen the clamp on the muffler and mess with it a bit to tuck it in farther, but it really doesnt stick out as bad as it looks.

im gonna look for shorter exhaust hangers, or maybe doing something with the brackets, but its not bugging me enough yet

If you have a cat, its not that loud at all, If you have a test pipe, its still not all that loud. On the highway it only gets loud under load, so theres no droning.
