Biggest stroker ever...2.5L

I was talking to my good friend who is in japan, and he does alot of reading over there.... HE told me that JUN is making a 2.5 L EVOX stroker kit...... I guess the 4b11 is REALLy gaining some ground on the formidable 4G.....

The EVOX might just be the real deal........

ANy one else heard this...

this would be intriguing. There were 2.5 and 2.6 stroker kits for the 4g63 (Brian Cower made these), but not many ppl made this step up and I've heard mixed reviews on 4g63 versions. If it is true, it will be interesting on how it turns out.

Now, I'm gonna Wiki the stroker kit, as I have very limited knowledge about them.. But either way, can a X with a stroker kit be a decent DD? I've obviously seen Evo's and STi's with them on the 1/4 mi... And it was crazy

I know Jun has the 2.2L stroker kit, but a 2.5 would be interesting.

I love how a sti owner thinks they are so bad ***, and never stop to compare the fact that they are a 2.5 over a 2.0 evo

now with a 4b112.5 they can do a serious comparison.

Evo motors are high revving motors. Why try to change them from something they do well to something they'll never do (become a V8)?

Who said anything about trying to be a V8?

larger displacement with a turbo can give you and edge and move the powerband to the left...

Not sure what you are trying to say here. Stroking doesn't change the orientation of the pistons to each other...
