We will be using our tried and true 750,850 and 950R turbos. there is a thread in the dyno section of the 850R on our time attack car making 750whp you should check it out. It will using a tial V-band external WG as well.

Which is why ours is a tubular cast manifold
What about the intercooler piping and down-pipe?

Something strange...I just looked up the AFI turbo kit on their website (http://www.afiturbo.com/store/produc...d1f173cf76763e) and their photo of the turbo kit is the exact same one as the Agency Power turbo kit (http://www.agency-power.com/catalog/...8-p-47998.html)

I have the AP turbo kit installed in my X and it is not doing anything near the power claims Agency Power made on their writeup on the kit. My tuner completed the tuning today on my car and the results were very disappointing. We made 391awhp on pump gas. However my car has upgraded 272 cams, injectors, intercooler, intake, exhaust, fuel pump etc. Very disappointing Agency Power.

I contacted them via their website tonight and hopefully they can tell me something I want to hear. Their kit costed upwards of 5K.

AFI builds the kits for AP.

AFI has results in the Dyno Thread.: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...hp-91-oct.html

AFI dyno is on a high reading dyna pack, and they put down 448 on pump gas s AP dyno'd on a DD dyno, and put down 402.
Your numbers are not that far off.

At least AMS is in hear providing feed back.

You normally get people that just brush you off and leave you wondering what is going on.

So props to AMS and keep dong your do-diligence so we can see this bad boy in production in time for tax returns.....

you should hold a special if people spend all their return at your shop

I will wait as long as it takes for AMS. I know I'll be getting the best when the time comes.

Yeah, the stock manifold is so-so. Nissan designed some pretty decent cast manifolds that had the runners somewhat paired and also somewhat pointing downwards into the turbo on the SR20s. The stock X manifold just has the runners pretty much running straight into each other forcing the flow to make a hard turn into the turbo.

However, for stock power levels, the stock manifold design is just fine. And that's all Mitsu is designing for on a performance level. The other main driver being 'cheap'
