If you want to pay someone to tune your car for every mod you do, then it's a big waste of money.

I hope you crash that ugly car into a wall from you dumb gauge pod and diaf.
Fact: You are a troll. You dont have an evo. youre knowledge of DSMs and 4G63s is irrelevant in this thread. You make too many assumptions.

My knowledge is more than yours. How do you know I didn't own an evo already? How do you know I don't work on evos?
Yep, you don't know ****.
You can't come onto a board expecting only good opinions. You have to take the good with the bad. Like your thread about the gauge pod. You like when others like it, like you need some reassurance or some crap, but when someone doesn't like it, your on their ***.
Nice assumption....

i recommend getting a tune asap, because with a CAI, you will be running to lean. you should have a CEL soon if you dont have one already telling you the system is too lean.

only remedy is either tune your car or run higher octane or dont run WOT.

gamble, your the reason i dont like this board....

Mrubino, Prior to getting your tune get yourself and UICP, the FMIC alone will not net you hardly any gains, With an UICP you will probably see about 15 HP and some nice torque. You will be fine untill you get a tune, like others said, just take it easy on the throttle, you dont need to make sure you dont spool or anything, just dont go WOT if you can help it.

Oh and to the guy who said get a tune after every bolt-on, this is unrealistic, it will cost you a fortune, unless of course its engine internals or a new turbo, then the tune is basically required.

And for the two guys argueing about the dsm and evo, go argue in off-topic, your cluttering up this guys thread, if you dont know what your talking about, dont post, if you are just here to bash on people who post OT, your not helping either, so you might as well go join them in the off topic area.

You do realize the stock tune is for around 8.5-9.0 afr right? Leaning out from that is not so bad. A tune should be done but your not going to blow it up without.

Thanks for your input.

I am running UICP, LICP, FMIC, Catless TBE, CAI

I havnt gone WOT. Havnt gone past 5K RPM. NO CEL yet. Keeping an eye on the wideband, so far so good. I will be getting tuned shortly.
