Thanks for the pics and description. I'm 90% sure this is the exhaust I'm going with. Now I'm just trying to figuring out weather I want a cat or not.

well I finally got the chance to get the car off the jacks after finding a few spots of paint that rocks had chipped off and little spots of rust some of the cross bracing stuff under the car, so all of that was stripped down to bare metal, cleaned, primed 2 coats and painted 2 coats... but anyway....

after getting the car warmed up and getting all sorts of smoke from the PB blaster and screw loose I used burning off I was actually sort of surprised. With just the DP it actually did have more response than I thought it would and that it did when it was completely stock. Was it as good as the custom tune I had? Well hell no, but I did notice a difference. I am quite excited to see how the entire exhaust will make the car feel.

A question to guys with a similar set-up to the one I am about to talk about.. Will there be a significant difference with the full TBE+UICP+Drop-in Green filter with the Cobb stage 2 flash from just a custom tune? Or will I not notice much until I get another custom tune?

On a side note... with all of these parts and the car driven gently, will I notice any extra MPG from before? Just wondering since it will be able to breathe better.

well yeah obviously then the mileage will suck, but i'm the kind of guy who drives my car normally the majority of the time, the power will be there when I need it or take it to a track (if I ever decide to do so), I just figured that if it has less restriction then it will be able to get better mileage, of course that turbo can also spool up a little faster as well so that part may not help, but oh well... we'll see.

Flash the stage 2, the car should feel better than the custom stage 1. Do you have 93 octane in Maryland?

By the way, if that's a Craftsman wrench, take it back to Sears and tell them it snapped when trying to remove a bolt.

haha, no it was my friends master mechanic.. he keeps the cheaper tools with him and his nice ones at home. It's not flashed to stage 1 at all right now... it's completely stock with the exception of the DP and now UICP that I installed last night... the drop-in and rest of the exhaust goes on right after Christmas.
