I think the Magnaflow exhaust note has some drone to it at speeds over 40. When I switch to a test pipe, I'm considering one with a resonator or mini-muffler to see if that might minimize the drone in the cabin.

Im getting mine installed this weekend along with a UR high flow cat. I am having the shop chop/replace the 2.5" taper so it mates with the 3" HFC. Hopefully the HFC will keep it quiet enough since its my DD.

My only issue with the magnalfow was the fact that it necks down to meet the stock cat pipe. I didnt want this restriction, per se. I went with turboXS instead. I am waiting on mine...

I just got mine about an hour ago....The taper or neck down isn't bad, I don't think it will affect flow very much if any, but other than that great product! Can't wait to get it on! It's to cold today and I have to work but tommorow hopefully!

If you're worried about the part that tapers down just have it cut off and weld a 3" flange in it's place.

A pic of what someone else did on the other forum:

I understand, but thats more work and more money to spend to get it done. I wanted a bolt-on solution, but to each his own...

Just got mine installed. Took about an hour, in 18 degree weather....haha. It sounds and looks amazing. No drone what so ever and has a good deep sound. I'll post pics and video eventually. Oh, and it goes faster. =) hahaha
