I have all the basic bolt ons minus the downpipe b/c at the time no one was showing any definite gains except with the dump. Anyways, I have an FP red on the way and was wondering which item I should get next? It'll probably be the last thing i can spare some cash on for a while so Im going for the most hp. I know a downpipe is a must at some point, but with the meth i'll be able to run a few more psi and surely get some extra hp. And then of course there's the cams along with new studs which would make me a little more comfortable about revving to 8k. Suggestions please! also i will have injectors and a new fuel pump by the time the red is installed.

 

I recommend the AMS Widemouth as the next step. If you do meth or cams first, but still choke the engine with the stock 02/dp, you'll just have a ton of exhaust back pressure and add a lot of heat and stress to the engine.

 

Is an upgraded wastegate actuator necessary with the red?
