Are All air Filter Cleaning Kits the same?
I am using the Cobb SF intake now and thinking to clean it. I know Cobb has its own clean kit, but the shipping is not cheap (comparing to the price of the kit). Therefore, I am just wondering are all kits the same? Kragen has the K&N clean kit for sale. Can I just use that kit instead of the Cobb's one?

The K&N cleaning/oiling kit has red dye in the oil... which will turn your blue Cobb filter purple :-\
I use a Spectre Performance cleaning kit, which has clear oil. Should work fine for you as well. However, my MAF has become dirty 3 separate times now since re-oiling even though I simply put a even coat of oil on the filter, then dried up the excess with a paper towel.
