i just installed a ams intake (no breather bungs) in my 2010 evo and my dash is saying service engine soon. did i do something wrong? is that normal? please help.

We have seen this before when installing the intake if the car is started without plugging the MAF sensor back in. Please make sure that it is plugged in. Not having the breather bungs will not cause the service engine soon light to come on.

 

i found outt what i did the car was started without the maf in before i finished and stayed on for a few off but it is now off thank you very much
