Kelford Stage 1 cams

I have full ams downpipe with speed circuit exhaust running test pipes along with the Agency short ram intake. I am also running the AMS front mount. My question is this. I am planning on getting my car tuned here in the next 2 weeks. Is it worth it to throw the Kelford Stage 1 cams? Has anyone found them to be useful? because i've been hearing that people aren't getting any gains from the cosworth ones and its making me have second thoughts. I'd appreciate anyone's advice. thanx

It seems that most people install either the Cosworth MX1's or the Kelford stage 2's. I haven't seen any dynos with the stage 1's.

Agreed. Ive seen multi cars with mild to wild setups with the kelford Stage 2's with springs/retainers and it looks to be the winner for both GSR and MR guys. Really want to go with BC's 272/272 with there springs and retainers. I'm a bit nervous though because I remember how much the 8's and 9's loved */sarcasm/*them.

Decisions...Decisions....Decisions...

Might wait to see where Cosworth goes next. I believe I remember HBSpeed talking about there Stage 2's w/springs retainers were on the way to general public.

The Cosworths are much more vigorous then the Kelfords, but with stage 1's i think the gains are all around the same area.

I decided to go MX1 w/springs and rev it out. Kelford recommends the stage 2's for 35r-sized turbos and that's not what I'm doing.

I have kelford stage 2s with a dom 2... the results are awesome. Gained power through the entire rpm range and peak torque went from 281 to 314 on GST 's dyno.

Highly recommend the setup, but would love to see a can comparison like what AMS did.
