Back fire normal ?

The car was tuned by HBSpeed, and has an AMS exhaust (downpipe, dual exhaust, high flow cat.), HM intake, ETS 4" intercooler and Cobb AP.

Back fire happens when I am on the gas and either let off or downshift. I am guessing it's normal and I am not complaining, just wanted to check with others.

Semi-loud exhaust popping under shifting or closed throttle transitions. Yep, the X will do that. Stock and tuned.

Mine does the exhaust popping too.

FYI: Back fire is when a car shoots flames out the carburetor. I say carb, because I doubt it's possible with direct port fuel injection. I cannot imagine the havoc it would cause in our cars with all the piping, the intercooler and the turbo.

Ok, sorry, thanks for the clarification on the terminology, I never knew that. All is good then.
