Call them to verify. But honestly it's Megan Racing; I would hold out and get a better exhaust system. Remember, made in China with recycled metals = mad profit margin.

 

That one is not stainless steel, I don't believe. The coating/paint may keep it from rusting, but the metal is most assuredly cheaper grade.

 

I have the megan single exhaust and made crazy power with it....

 

BINGO! You hit it right on the nose. Megan offers exhausts in mild steel to bring down costs. They also offer stainless, but for more $$$.

Megan is actually a good brand. I wouldnt "hold off" buying Megan to waste your money on a Bling bling uber titanium JDM gansta exhaust. The Megan will perform just as well. If you like it, then buy it.

 

alright so i ordered it, i know its not stainless but for 350 shipped u cant beat it. i read reviews on other exhaust system with the same metal on the subaru sites and even though its not stainless the coating seems to keep them from rusting, so thats not an issue. even if it rusts 5 year down the road. ill buy something else. I live in california so we dont have salt or other things that help with the rusting.

Ill review it ones i get it on and let everyone know how it is. Like i said for 350shipped, you can really argue with that :-)

Just so everyone knows, Megan exhausts are most definitely stainless...

 

Not all of them.

They offer different grades. This one in question is NOT stainless.

 

That black is not even available and has not been for MONTHS.

It was discontinued as the coating would peel off quickly.

 

ya i heard about the issues, i canceled my order :-), i think ill go with my original choice of the perrin

Good choice. Often times, you do actually get what you paid for.

 

Ive got Megan from the 02 housing back.....it fit perfect and works well....its just a 3in pipe theres not much you can screw up on it

 

bump, my black coated megan on my 9 peeled from heat cycle and guess whaat.. rust
